Try these snacks at 30,000ft!
It’s wise to travel with ready-to-eat portable snacks in case of meal delays or food unavailability such as:
- Peanut butter or low fat cheese on whole-grain bread or crackers
- Almonds, pistachios, peanuts, soy, or seeds
- Homemade trail mix
- Dried fruits or fresh vegetables
- Cereal, granola or protein bars (>5 grams of fiber)
- Yogurt cups
- Homemade protein wraps or sandwiches with cheese slices, smoked turkey, and some bell peppers, lettuce.
- Sugar-free protein bars
- Packaged stick cheeses with some raw nuts
